15th Month Old

Dec is a month of joy and celebration. Quite an eventful month so far for the family but we are enjoying it. Darius little update:

1) Still 4 little teeth (2 upper, 2 lower). wonder why it take so long for his teeth to grow.
2) Still hand holding him to walk around
3) He can identify quite a list of items especially family members and grocery. Why grocery?? Bcos grandparents always bring him to collect brochure from NTUC.
4) Favorite Playmate - Daddy
5) Keeps chanting papapapapapapa...
6) Likes little babies and playing with young children
7) Undergoing training to take care of himself.. This mommy is into child slaving... asking him to help take diapers, wipes, cream and cleaning his mouth with hanky after milk

Back from the west...

Missed them very much when Daddy and Mommy was away for 2 weeks to US west coast. Although they called back everyday to talk to me but different feeling. During this period, luckily granduncle was on leave and bring me and family out for meals and car rides.. Phew, else I will be bored at home.

Daddy and Mommy promise to include me for the next trip. Promise ok?? Kiddos remember things very well one.. :p

See what they have brought for me.. Mountain of things I would say.. And yes, your eyes are not playing tricks, i've got a new car seat all the way from US. Haha.. in the end, I am the biggest winner.

Darius @13th Month Old

My 13th month milestone is being a pro-climber. I can climb up sofa very swiftly, yesterday I even jump from sofa and landed on the floor. Mommy scolded me but I gave her a cheeky smile and laughter. When I'm concentrating on something, I can let go my hands and stand up. That's only if I know no one is monitoring me (still lack of courage for first step).

Mommy's 2[0-9]th Birthday

Went for hotel stay over last weekend for Mommy's birthday mini celebration. Lots of fun and food feast. Darius's first encountered of staying out is a successful, no fuss, happy and easy going. 3 cheers for being a great boy. With this result, believe we can bring him overseas pretty soon.

Countdown to our trip

We are going on a 2 week US trip without our baby, wonder if we can survive the period without Darius whining and laughter. Reckon at the age of 1, Darius is probably easy to coax so long he is with his caregiver granny, well fed and lots of playtime for him. But for us, I always ponder how will I like it without the rush hours to work, night feeds and quality time with Darius. It's kind of emptyness... abit regret to go ahead with the trip without involving our boy.

I recalled when we were confirming air tickets, I was quite pessimistic and advised our travel mates that should there be a need to stay back for Darius I will give up my plan. I'm certainly not a happy go lucky person, more like worry worry and more worries person.. really wish to achieve the former and lead a simple thoughts life. This trip is long overdue and postponed that 4 of us planned to go before I was preggie, then all travel plans were halted for the sake of our prince.. Next year we should plan one including him. This weekend we are bringing him for a hotel stay in Singapore.

The dates are getting nearer and we have yet to plan and book hotels etc. Heavily depending on our 2 other travel mate to do the job, i hope :0 .
