Happy Ox Year

Just finish our reunion dinner and cleaning up. This is the first year we are having it at our place with our immediate relatives, usually we will have it outside or at granny place. I wish this is a simple and peaceful year for our family and in work. Hope we will be blessed to carry our baby junior to at least 37 weeks. That's our humble wish. Happy new year to all.

Ouch.. Pain Pain

It all begin with a happy morning when mommy is not working, family was chatting and Darius was happily walking about showing off his things on hand. Then... he trip and fell over my mum leg and his mouth bled. He was so angry and embarrassed and he cried and threw out his milk. We use ice to soothe the wound and apply gel on it. Hope it will be heal before CNY. :(

Mr Cool @ 16th Month

Here comes the 16th month update. Recently grandma commented that if a baby still unable to walk by 15th month then he will only walk on 18th month.. Also there were comments that a late walker means good life ahead.. I was amused by these myth and I thought it was meant well as a consolation.. Nevertheless it happened, on the very last day of the 15th month... (read on)

I was glad that I pushed away a business dinner yesterday as I was tired and also wanted to catch more time with Darius. When I came home still feeling exhausted, I was cheered by a toddler which started only walking on the lat day of his 15th month.. Some more he can also get on the bicycle on his own now (Enjoy video). It was indeed a priceless moment watching his first few steps. :)

~ Started walking without aid
~ Another teeth is spouting out
~ Say "Pa Pa" very loudly
~ Try on other variety of food this month, etc Marconi, spaghetti, Mee sua, bee hoon etc
~ Had his last 2nd jab
~ Super cheeky and lovable

15th Month Old

Dec is a month of joy and celebration. Quite an eventful month so far for the family but we are enjoying it. Darius little update:

1) Still 4 little teeth (2 upper, 2 lower). wonder why it take so long for his teeth to grow.
2) Still hand holding him to walk around
3) He can identify quite a list of items especially family members and grocery. Why grocery?? Bcos grandparents always bring him to collect brochure from NTUC.
4) Favorite Playmate - Daddy
5) Keeps chanting papapapapapapa...
6) Likes little babies and playing with young children
7) Undergoing training to take care of himself.. This mommy is into child slaving... asking him to help take diapers, wipes, cream and cleaning his mouth with hanky after milk

Here's some recent photos of him to share.

Back from the west...

Missed them very much when Daddy and Mommy was away for 2 weeks to US west coast. Although they called back everyday to talk to me but different feeling. During this period, luckily granduncle was on leave and bring me and family out for meals and car rides.. Phew, else I will be bored at home.

Daddy and Mommy promise to include me for the next trip. Promise ok?? Kiddos remember things very well one.. :p

See what they have brought for me.. Mountain of things I would say.. And yes, your eyes are not playing tricks, i've got a new car seat all the way from US. Haha.. in the end, I am the biggest winner.

Darius @13th Month Old

My 13th month milestone is being a pro-climber. I can climb up sofa very swiftly, yesterday I even jump from sofa and landed on the floor. Mommy scolded me but I gave her a cheeky smile and laughter. When I'm concentrating on something, I can let go my hands and stand up. That's only if I know no one is monitoring me (still lack of courage for first step).
