1st time Daddy away

This is the first time Daddy is away from us after Darius is born. Daddy is bounded for Korea Biz trip this time. We had dinner at crystal jade then send daddy to the departure gate. At this young age, Darius still don't know how to miss daddy but certainly daddy will miss him. Can see lots of emotions in Jere's eye.. hee... dear, don't scold me for blogging ur feelings out. Just want darius to know how you feel when he read this blog next time :p ..

Merry Xmas and A Happy New Year!

Christmas mood is all around.. Brought Darius to Orchard road last week to see christmas lightings, he is so excited and curious about the lightings. To all our family and friends, wish you an advance Merry Christmas and a Happy 2008.

Day out at Ikea

Ooo aircon... Darius sure know how to enjoy. Once we reach Ikea, he went to his dreamland. Daddy n Mommy first trial out with Darius was pretty smooth. Ikea is very child friendly, from parking to diaper changing and feeding is no haste. See daddy can handle without trouble also.
Within the same week, Darius went to Ikea again. This time round with Mommy, Wa-gong and Wa-po.

Reflux problem pls go away...

As Darius had reflux issues, he tends to regurgitated milk. We usually hold him in 45 degree position for 30mins after his feeding to prevent regurgitation. When he was 3 weeks old before he went to KK, he only surfaced as a kan cheong drinker. After KK incident, doctor suggested he might be having reflux, prescribed medication for him. Thereafter, he will throw out mouthful of milk. As he grows older, not sure if its bcos he had more strength or condition worsen, he merlions out the milk approx once a day. As older generation might suggest this is normal, but I don't think so leh... if its flowing I'm find with it but throwing out milk leh.. Moreover this reflux problem is giving him a lot of discomfort during and after feeding.

Recent 2 occasions after carrying him for almost one hour, he dozed off and I put him back to his cot. After a short while, he cries out, I went to him saw that his face is wet with regurgitated milk flowing out his mouth but almost getting into his nostrils and ear. I held him tight, comforting him and cleaning him up. In my heart, I was angry about myself not darius.. I feel lousy why I didn't hold him longer and create the chance of danger. Back in my mind I keep thinking, what if the milk gets in the nostril.. what if he didn't cry to alert us.. what ifs... really no idea how can I do a better job.. sigh.. reflux problem pls go away...
